Fall Family Harvest Gathering...

So, I forgot to take a single picture while we were at mom and dad's house. And there were so many picture worthy moments! We headed to NY on Friday for the Strine Family Annual Harvest Gathering (that's a mouth-full). This is complete with homemade Apple Cider, Donuts and Chicken Corn Soup. Mmm Mmmm Mmmm! Other than eating we did what we do best.... visit. Which included a record breaker (I believe) late night of talking, yes 1 AM. This is what happens when we don't get to see each other as often anymore! Thankfully, my sister and her family were able to make it out too... (hence, the 1 AM talk, which also included my brother and both husbands). Our sweet little Jenna (my niece) is getting so big and is so precious! Oh how I wish that I had pictures!

I did declare on the drive back home to Virginia that I wasn't going to return completely empty handed... So, here are some traveling shots through Pennsylvania. It is a very nice time of year to travel through the mountains during the fall.

"The results were completely normal..."

This is what Dr. Mulreany said this afternoon on the phone in regards to Eli's last Holter monitor results. He is truly a wonderful Cardiologist that God used to heal our little Eli when he was still in my belly. Thankfully the medicine took hold in April before Eli was born and this little guys heart jumped back into its correct rhythm. He has had 3 Holter monitors placed on him since he was born and all results showed a perfectly beating heart. Dr. Mulreany felt very confident that Eli's "atrial flutter" has been corrected and that there is no more need for more Cardiologist appointments and Holter monitors. Thank you Jesus! We are so blessed to have this little boy! Thank you God for healing him!

Columbus Day, Acorn Family, and Eli's 4 Month Check Up...

We headed to the Zoo Monday on Columbus Day. We met Adam, Dana, Elias and Ianna there as well as Dana's parents. Bryant made the comment, "Wow, our kids really love Dana" and it's true that family is really special to us! Thank you!

On Tuesday Gracie, Eli and I headed over to "the blue park". Remember, my kids name the parks according to their color. Gracie was not interested in playing however, she was all about collecting acorns and finding hats that fit each one of them. So, here is our little family... in a nut shell.

And Eli had his 4 month check up yesterday, Wednesday. He is a whooping 15 pounds 12 ounces! This was about the 56th percentile for weight and his height was in the 94th percentile. He got 3 shots in the leg and the Rotovirus oral "shot". Last night he just was not feeling well... those shots never make him a happy camper.

Gracie finally goes to Dance Class!

This is the second post for today... can you believe that! But, we have had a few exciting days around here lately. So be sure to check out Eli's first right below this one of Gracie.
Today was Gracie's first ballet and tap class. She has been waiting for sooo long for today! And she had so much fun. You'll notice that in the first couple of pictures she has her ballet slippers on but then she is just dancing in her tights.... well that's because momma got her the wrong size shoes. Problem has been corrected and next week she'll be twirling in a size bigger ballet slipper.

Eli tries out Cereal...

Can you believe he is already old enough to start cereal?! To me it's bitter sweet.... excited to start this stage for him and yet sad because he's our last little guy and each little step of getting older will be bitter sweet for us.

Check out that face!

And the jaw is clenched... "No more Momma please! This stuff is just too weird!"

Since that first try Eli has successfully ate 5 bites the next try and again had a good cereal meal this morning!
