Please continue your prayers for our family as we mourn the loss of Bryant's brother. And thank you to all who have supported our family during this difficult time.
Our summer began with a trip to Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania. We rented a cabin (along with the rest of the Strine family) at Yogi Bear's Jellystone park in Mill Run, Pennsylvania. While there we played in the pool daily, went down the water slides several times, went on a hayride with Yogi bear, a fire truck ride, a train ride, visited Laurel Caverns, hiked down to Cucumber Falls, explored the natural water slides that are found in Ohiopyle State Park, biked, went to a drive-in movie, and white water rafted down the Youghiogheny River. Here a few pictures from our trip....

30! When Bryant called yesterday on his way home, it took me longer to answer the phone because I had to find it. But, I told him it took me longer because now that I'm older I move slower... you know now I move at his pace! He thought that was kinda funny. Then he continued, now that I'm 30 I need to do a push-up each time I put a fork in the dishwasher! Yah, right... he needs to do it first!
Well, eventually he made it home and off to cookin' he went. He made lasagna, bread sticks, and lemon filled cupcakes with meringue topping. He also got me a bike for my birthday. I may be the only one in the family with brown hair and dark eyes (which I''m told makes me the odd ball)but, I am no longer the only one without a bike. Now I just need to get Eli his bike seat and we're set to go. As long as I remember how to ride it!
