Disney... Part 5

Our last outing at Disney was to Hollywood Studios.

We watched the Indiana Jones Stunt show...

Watched the parade... Eli met Frozone from The Incredibles.

And Nathan attended Jedi Training...

The next 2 days, it rained. Hard.  Tropical Storm Debby came in and we did not venture into Disney at all those days.

We did however, eat lunch at the World's Largest McDonald's.  And we went to the movies to watch Brave, souvenir shopped and went Dinosaur digging.  We really did try to make the most of it.

Epcot.  It really is much more fun then what people say.  At least for us it is!

There are several different play areas.  We used these to escape the heat and it was a good place to wait with the small kids while the big kids were on a simulator ride.

We watched the Caption EO 3D movie from the 80's starring Michael Jackson.  It was nap time for Eli, so this was perfect (he fell asleep, mission accomplished).

We happened by another beautiful princess at Epcot.  Snow White told Gracie all about how Grumpy just loves gooseberry cookies!

At lunch a colonial band made an appearance at the restaurant we were eating at.  It was a very pleasant surprise.  With the exception of the drunk man in the dining room that was singing his own lyrics to Yankee Doodle... if we were only a couple of tables closer...

The next day was a boat ride to The Magic Kingdom.

Nathan and Gracie both had the turn trying to pull the sword from the stone.

Then it was time for some rides... and the waiting.

That evening we watched fireworks from behind Cinderella's castle.  I must say that they really are the best fireworks show that I've ever seen.

And on the way out we stopped and chatted with some princess...

And Minnie was hittin' on my man.  Even Eli knew that wasn't right!

From June 20th til the 28th we were either in the vehicle of enjoying beautiful Florida, in particular Disney World.

The drive was long... 15 hours, but eventually we got there.

First stop, Animal Kingdom.  We watched an amazing Lion King show and met Mickey and Minnie Mouse for the first time while here.

After checking in at the hotel and a quick change of clothes, our first nights dinner was at The Rainforest Cafe.  Then we walked around Downtown Disney, I must say that our favorite thing there was the life size Lego sculptures.

Finally, we settled in for the night at the beautiful Shades of Green Resort.
